It could be pretty related being as it was pretty much immediately after that I started experiencing it, but figured that the VCSA couldn't do something that odd... Unable To Connect To The Mks Virtual Machine Config File Does Not Exist Connecting to vCenter using the client on the vCenter server works and i can see the full tree and connect to all consoles. But the main thing is that it's running and I can now at least build new VMs, so I can work around it, but ideally, one vSphere window would be nice. You have to actually power them off and on again.
