The simple fix for me was to re-run the installer and choose the ‘REPAIR' option. Help me please to fixe it. I use REPAIR in VMWARE 10, solved it. Maybe it is a VMware bug. I tried an uninstall of virtualbox, but was not successful due to some conflict with vmware's dependencies.
