I'd try setting a static IP for the VM and making sure there's a correct, resolvable (by your vSphere Client machine) DNS entry and see if that doesn't clear this up. If you've made any changes to your topology check back over that just to rule it out? And finally restart the management agents on the host, either from the console, or by running '/sbin/services.sh restart'.I've also fixed this error by shutting down the machine > removing it from It's vSphere 6 and there were VMs running prior to vCenter (he just got licensing).
