I know I can go to START > COMPUTER > HOMEGROUP to retrieve the HomeGroup password. Go to HomeGroup, which is a distinct and separate Control Panel subgroup. When I try to use Homegroup it says there is an existing Homegroup and invites all 4 units to join. After the other three PC's were connected, I tested them as good, but the primary laptop would not expand the tree in my Homegroup.
Ran into a issue of a W7 Laptop that started the Homegroup that was given to charity to Africa. FIXED by removing that idstore.sst file. Delete Homegroup Windows 10 I have gone to Task Manager and stopped HomeGroup Provider without making a difference. I finally got tired of messing with it and turned off the laptop.
connected other pc to that homegroup and finally put on the pc with win10-- supposed to be hosting the ghost...... But this computer (Desktop hooked to TV) I can't. Turn ALL machines offc. Click apply to make these changes.Next, browse to Local Disk C\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming and open the PeerNetworking folder.
