You did not answer this "frequently asked question" in any meaningful way. Microsoft are far worse!! The autodiscover doesn't work, at least when using SRV records. The easiest way to check if you have this issue is to go to www.testexchangeconnectivity.com which is a website provided by microsoft to check whether your exchange server is working correctly
