I think I would give Ronbos' idea a try. USBCrypt Encrypt and password-protect flash drives, external and internal USB and other drives with USBCrypt software for Windows 10, 8, 7, and XP. Why don`t you just make the PW boot cd and delete the xp partition and change the W7 partition to primary and active, then run startup repair ?
